Built around the working day

Run the whole skip firm without the paperwork chasing.

Book the job. Build the driver run. Record the weight. Send the waste receipt. Raise the invoice. SkipDeck keeps it together from the first call to money in the bank.

Set it up yourself. Import existing jobs. No walkthrough or sales call required.

The SkipDeck dashboard on a working morning: two things worth a decision, three tipped loads past the Defra deadline, and seven skip permits running out.

One working book

Bookings, customers, sites and prices in one place. The whiteboard and the spreadsheet retire together.

Clear driver runs

The day planned lorry by lorry with timed windows kept, and each driver’s run on their own phone.

Fast weighbridge

Pick the load, key the weight, split it by EWC code. The next load is already selected.

Defra-ready receipts

Every load becomes a receipt of waste with its codes, weights and route, held until it is complete.

The screens your team actually works in.

Not mock-ups: these are the product’s own pages carrying a morning’s work. The yard, the office and the dispatcher each get the one screen their job needs.

The weighbridge, on the office PC or a tablet at the bridge: outstanding loads on the left, the load and what was actually in it in the middle, the weight on the right. Two materials, two EWC codes, two weights — and they have to add up to the figure off the bridge before it saves.

Waste tracking is part of the yard flow.

The operator records what arrived while the load is still on the bridge: the weight, what was actually in the skip, and which EWC code each part goes under. The office sees what is ready for Defra, what is held and why, and what came back rejected — without opening a spreadsheet to find out.

  • Several EWC codes and weights on one receipt
  • Hazardous properties (HP codes) on the item that carries them
  • Persistent organic pollutants — seating flagged at collection, recorded at the bridge
  • Recovery and disposal routes (R and D codes) per line
  • Held, ready, exported, accepted, rejected and corrected states, derived once on the server
  • Defra’s Waste Tracking ID stored against the job when the reply comes back
  • An explicit send-to-Defra step: download the file, upload it, load the reply

SkipDeck builds Defra’s receipt-of-waste spreadsheet for you and reads their reply back to mark each receipt accepted or rejected. Direct filing through Defra’s Receipt of Waste API is built and tested against their specification, and stays switched off until Defra grants production access — nothing is submitted without you pressing the button.

The receipts ledger: seven receipts in their six states, a POPs line and a hazardous line on their own codes, one accepted receipt carrying its Waste Tracking ID, and the two panels for sending the file to Defra and loading the reply.

One job. Every part of the day attached.

A booking is planned, driven, weighed and invoiced as one record. Nothing is retyped between the board, the driver’s phone, the weighbridge and the invoice — and every page shows the same job in the same state.

Bring the spreadsheet. Keep the working week.

Upload the job sheet you already run the firm on. SkipDeck reads its columns, shows you what it took each one to mean and why, and you confirm before a single job is created. Skips still out on site come across too, so the chase list is right from the first morning.

  1. Upload the sheet. Any layout — yours, not a template.
  2. Confirm the columns. Every guess shows its evidence; change any that are wrong.
  3. Review and create. Addresses are checked on a map before they become bookings.

Set it up yourself, at your own pace. Nothing is created until you say so.

The column-mapping step: the firm’s own headings on the left, what each was read as beside it, how sure the reader is, and the first few values from the sheet as evidence.
